'Not Waving....Drowning!'

Oh my Gosh!
Well, another turbulent week at work resulting in my questioning all areas of my life. At present I can liken myself to flotsam, just waiting to see whether I will land on solid ground or wallow for a while in the churning surf.
In the meantime I will rely on the ever strong shoulders of friends and researchers who understand completely, the pond upon which I am floating.........

Onwards and Upwards!

Well, it seems I am truly on the road to discovery, having negitiated several online communities I can now see the attraction of the ethernet!
However, the next step in the journey begins....I must evaluate all I have discovered and learnt along the way, which at the moment is on a par with climbing Mount Everest, blindfolded and wearing wearing bedroom slippers!

This is it then...after many,many years of prevarication and false starts I have taken the first steps towards gaining a Degree.
Shame on he who quoted 'You cant teach an old dog new tricks'!
Some may ask why now?,or why this degree?, I can only answer that 'now' feels the right time for me,and, because I can!
There is an almost certain possibility that I will fall at the first hurdle, but I have entered a learning community where there are many willing hands waiting to raise me up,dust me down,and help me to carry on.
I am looking forward,albeit with trepidation,to the next step in this journey.....
